I do know that "coincidentally" when I feel I am in more constant communion with God I "happen" to be more approached by strangers or just pinpointed out of a crowd more often. I once met a good friend of a good friend who said he was able to see demons which appeared as a sort of semi-transparent figure over random peoples faces/bodies. I believe that many people have conditioned themselves to ignore these intuitions or whatever. Supposedly humans are the only animals that act against what their better judgment suggests. I could go on forever exploring the mysteries of this but I believe other can see the Love of God on you and it makes you even more beautiful. (Maybe there was something true in what Mom always said.)BeeTalshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14743234659730902252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8979466093212569075.post-89494696547932930612009-10-22T14:49:04.908-07:002009-10-22T14:49:04.908-07:00Cat, thank you so much, and thank you for reading!...Cat, thank you so much, and thank you for reading! I would love to have a conversation with you about this. I have a lot of thoughts but no conclusions. It was interesting, after writing this entry I read this from an interview with Catholic Worker David Stein, "In this society, we've got so far to go to recognize people's humanity that to be talking about their divinity is rather putting the cart before the horse." And I felt like he was directly challenging me.a.e. neehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16339779756854212257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8979466093212569075.post-20519409776469534412009-10-22T13:39:32.628-07:002009-10-22T13:39:32.628-07:00Amy, this is an amazingly-written post, and really...Amy, this is an amazingly-written post, and really helps to clarify and challenge a lot that i've been reflecting on in this city! i'd love to talk with you more about it, but i'm truly grateful that you wrote what you did.
